The Vikings record a streak of 1,049 consecutive games attended, beginning in 1961 and extending into the 2011 season.

His induction was celebrated on December 20, before Minnesota’s game against Jacksonville.
He was posthumously included in the inaugural PFATS Hall of Fame class and recognised through the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Awards of Excellence programme.
The PFATS Hall of Fame and Awards of Excellence are distinct from enshrinement as a Pro Football Hall of Fame member.
