Your independent guide to Vikings training camp at TCO Performance Center in Eagan, Minnesota — what camp is, how to visit, what to bring, and the confirmed practice dates once the team announces them.
Plan Your VisitTraining camp is the Minnesota Vikings' preseason work period, when the full roster reports to begin padded practices, install the offensive and defensive systems, and compete for the roster spots and starting jobs that will be set before Week 1. It runs for several weeks each summer, usually late July into August, and leads into the preseason games and the final roster cutdown to 53 players.
Since 2018, camp has been held at TCO Performance Center, the Vikings' team headquarters and practice facility in Eagan, Minnesota. Before that, the Vikings trained at Minnesota State University, Mankato, for 52 consecutive summers, a tradition that ended in 2017 when the Eagan facility was completed. A typical camp day includes a walkthrough or padded practice on the outdoor fields, media access, and, on many days, a public viewing period along a roped-off sideline area.
Practices are closed-roster, meaning only players and coaches take part, but the sessions themselves have historically been open for fans to watch in person, free of charge, on the days the team designates for public viewing.

TCO Performance Center
