Start with your local FOX listing. The viewing route depends on whether that station is showing Vikings at Bears.

Coverage checked 10 September 2026. The network and the fixture are confirmed. A complete game-by-game regional carriage list has not been established from the sources checked, so no coverage areas are stated here as confirmed. The two teams meet twice this season, so use the full Vikings schedule if you are looking for the other meeting.

Watching in Chicago or Minnesota

FOX is the listed network, but a network is not the station in front of you. Local listings establish which station carries this game at noon, so both profiles below start there rather than with a subscription.

Chicago area

The station to check is FOX 32 Chicago. Its identity as the market's FOX outlet is settled; whether it is carrying this fixture on the day is a separate question that only the dated listing answers.

Find it through the television guide you already use. “FOX 32” is the station's public name, not a channel position: cable and satellite providers put it on their own numbers, and those vary by provider and by area, so take the number from your own guide rather than from a general list. The station's official site is the place to confirm its schedule.

Then do one thing: open the programme entry for Sunday 20 September at noon and check which game it names. If you would rather be there than watch, Vikings tickets covers attendance instead.

Minnesota

In the Twin Cities the reference point is FOX 9 Minneapolis–St. Paul, and the same rule applies: confirm the dated entry rather than assuming the market's FOX station takes every Vikings game. Its official site carries the current schedule.

Outside the Twin Cities

One Twin Cities listing does not describe the whole state. Duluth, Rochester, Mankato and the western counties sit in their own markets with their own affiliates, and their schedules are set locally. Check the station that serves your own area, and treat any affiliate as unconfirmed until you have seen its listing for this date.

For listening rather than watching, the Vikings Audio Network carries live radio commentary. That is audio coverage of the game, not a video stream, and its stations and any online access conditions should be confirmed for this fixture before you rely on it.

Watching elsewhere in the United States

If you live outside both home areas, the question is still the same one, and it is still local: what is your own FOX station showing at noon on 20 September? Sunday afternoon assignments are made market by market, and a market well away from Illinois and Minnesota may still be given this game. Find out before you buy anything.

Match your local listing to the route that fits it.

FOX is showing Vikings at BearsLocal television access, or a verified streaming service carrying that local game.
FOX is showing a different gameCheck whether this fixture is available to your location through NFL Sunday Ticket.
The listing is unavailable or unclearCheck the dated station or provider guide before subscribing.

NFL Sunday Ticket covers eligible out-of-market Sunday afternoon CBS and FOX games, and it excludes games being shown locally. That exclusion is the point worth understanding: if your own station has this game, Sunday Ticket is not the route to it. It can be bought through YouTube without a YouTube TV main plan. Check the official Sunday Ticket availability guidance and run its current location check against your own address.

FOX One is a separate option for local FOX games, and it depends on the game being available in your market rather than on the service alone. YouTube's official NFL viewing guide documents its FOX One Primetime Channel offering. If you would rather buy directly from FOX, confirm that purchase route and its current terms separately. Prices move, so read them at the point of purchase.

When the listing and the app disagree

Picture the common case. Your FOX guide for Sunday lunchtime shows a different matchup, while an app on the same television advertises NFL coverage in large letters. Both can be accurate at once. A service carrying NFL programming is telling you what it offers in general; whether your account is eligible for this particular live game on this date is a narrower question, and it turns on your location, your plan and sometimes the device. Work through the provider's own location, plan and device guidance rather than guessing at the cause, and do not start altering account details to get around a restriction.

Check the date as well. These teams have met many times, and a result about a previous meeting can look current long after it stopped being so. Compare the date and venue in the panel above with whatever page you have landed on, and use today's Vikings game if you want to know what is on now. Then go back to your own station's dated listing, which is the only thing that settles it.

Coverage checked

Checked 10 September 2026 against the official Vikings fixture listing for Minnesota at Chicago, and against the provider guidance linked above for NFL Sunday Ticket and FOX One. Station identity for FOX 32 Chicago and FOX 9 Minneapolis–St. Paul is confirmed; the game-week carriage assignment is not, and should be read from the dated listing nearer the time.

Outside the United States, rights are sold country by country: check the broadcaster listing for your own country rather than treating any US service named here as a worldwide answer.

The rest of the season is on the Vikings schedule.
